Intrasquad & Invitational Meets
NSDC is planning on hosting another Invitational Meet at the end of the 2023 Fall Session on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 and/or Sunday October October 29th, 2023 depending upon the number of entries. A 2023-24 AAU Membership will be required to participate in the event. More information for this invitational will be posted soon! While these invitational meets are not a requirement for divers, they are strongly recommended. For those new to the sport, they are a great introduction to a competitive environment and an opportunity to set goals for the end of the season and show off new skills and dives learned to family and friends. For those athletes wishing to participate in the USA Diving competition series, they are an opportunity to prepare for upcoming competitions and practice their lists. 2023 North Star Diving Fall Invitational – Saturday October 28th warm-ups starting at 1030am at Two Rivers High School Aquatic Center, if necessary Sunday October 29th warm-ups starting at 8am.
2023 Fall Back Invitational – Brown Deer, WI – November 4-5, 2023. More information will be available soon. This meet is only open to those invited by the coaches to participate.

Minnesota Diving Association Championships
NSDC has participated in and hosted the Minnesota Diving Association Championships. This state-wide championship event typically takes place at the end of July.
USA Diving Competitions
Speaking of the USA Diving competition series, we also wanted to provide a brief summary of how the system works.
There are 12 Regional competitions in late April or early May. Minnesota is in Region 8, which consists of Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
From Regionals, divers qualify to compete at a Zone Competition. Minnesota is in Zone D, which is made up of Regions 7 (Illinois and Missouri) and 8. From the Zone competitions, divers qualify for the USA Diving Junior National Championships at the end of July/beginning of August.
North Star Diving Club does plan to attend these competitions with any divers who qualify and are interested. As we progress as a club and as individual divers, there may be additional competitions such as a winter National Championship and more that are available. For more information about these competitions, you can visit the USA Diving website or contact us directly with questions. More information about qualifications, specific events offered at competitions, costs, etc. will also be sent as we get closer to these events.
