Competition Group

Once divers have mastered the basic fundamental skills and have a competitive diving list for their age for both the 1M and 3M Event, they may be looking to become a member of our competition group.  The focus for the competition group practices will be preparation for local, regional and national level competitions . Divers in this group will be expected to participate in multiple competitions throughout the year. For information on the diving rules and what a competitive list would consist of, please refer to the USA Diving Junior rules in Subpart C. The goals for the competition practice group will be to have fun while continuing a commitment to becoming a successful diver and improving their competency while competing.

This group does not have a maximum age.  If you are a college diver interested in training for the summer, this group is open to you. If you are unsure whether or not the Team practice group is the right fit for you or your diver, please contact Coach Jason at 612-499-2263.

Dryland Training:

Divers in this program should attend dryland training in addition to their water training programs to enhance their diving skills. We will have some dryland training at each workout, however the dryland only practices at the gym will allow divers to utilize equipment to learn new dives, get multiple repetitions. and enhanced physical fitness. Visit our Dryland Training page for more information about this exciting opportunity!

Make-ups and prorated costs: As a general rule we base our staffing upon registration numbers for each individual practice session. With that being said we understand that life happens, and sometimes deviations from schedules are necessary. We try our best to accommodate make-ups, especially during the summer session. We ask that you let us know in advance by emailing which practices you will be missing, and what day/date, location and time you would like to attend as a make-up. If we can accommodate changes, we will let you know.

Vacations or missed time during the winter: Vacations or missed time during the session are handled in one of two ways, both require you communicate via email with Coach Jason prior to your registration. Please contact Coach Jason and work out make-ups for practices you will be missing or to discuss prorated costs for the time you will be missing.

Payment Plan Options for 2024-25 Winter Session: When completing your registration there will be three options in the registration for payment terms: pay in full, pay 50% due at checkout and the second 50% due on January 14, or finally 50% due at registration then 25% due on January 2 and February 4.
